Consider how blessed and privileged we are, that, through Jesus we receive grace and heavenly peace. Do we think about what God’s ultimate plan may be for us? Most of the time, we are told by our parents, teachers and the community about what our ultimate plans should be in life. We go through life struggling to identify our purpose. And we lose our Lord in the search to define our life purpose. In the first reading, St Paul shows how he was called by God to preach the Good News and reveal Jesus Christ to the world so that many will have eternal life. God’s ultimate plan for us is to have an intimate relationship with him. What a blessing it is to know that we too, like St Paul can be called to preach the Good News to the world. It is a privilege and a calling to us. The Psalmist reminds us, “if today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” Therefore let us be open and willing to accept the truth of God’s Word and allow God to bless us with his presence and healing in all the areas of our lives.
Prayer: Abba Father, reveal your plan for my life. Amen.
