We get caught up in today’s fast pace world and find ourselves busy. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with work that we feel even 24 hours are not enough for a day. What have we achieved or gained by being so busy? When life becomes too hectic we make some sacrifices to keep up, to make ends meet, to achieve goals. One of those sacrifices would be our time. When we sacrifice our time the first thing that gets eliminated is our time for prayer. We want to have a spiritual life while keeping abreast with the world. No one can serve two masters. My busy schedule at one time overtook my time for prayer. I had to learn my lesson the hard way to realize that without my relationship with Jesus nothing matters. I would rather serve God than the world. If I choose to serve only God and give him the ownership of my life he takes care of all the aspects of my life. We need to trust in God and hold on to him and he will take care of us. Are we ready to put our trust in the one true God?

PRAYER: Abba Father, help me to place my complete trust in you. Amen.
