Forgive, forgive and forgive
  • Titus 1: 1-9
  • Psalm 24: 1-6
  • Luke 17: 1-6

Jesus is asking us to forgive our brothers and sisters, not just once. Every time they come and say sorry, we need to forgive. It is difficult and complicated, but Jesus is confronting us to be good and rebuke evil and accept good; a good heart will love, give and forgive others without judging. However, we need faith. His disciples ask him, “Lord, increase our faith”; how do we develop this faith in Jesus, who is loving and kind and wants us to be like him? Jesus’ relationship with his Father is unique, and his connection and communication are incredible. We need to learn from Jesus how we should pray. We need to increase our faith in prayer. In our weakness, God becomes our strength, enabling us to fight against evil, to forgive others, overcome sin and trust God’s goodness and mercy. Every time we fail, stumble and find it difficult to forgive, every time we lose, let us express our desire saying: “Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.”

PRAYER: Abba Father, the law of love is too difficult for me to follow. Empower me with your grace. Amen.
