In the first reading we are shown the abundance of our Father and his unlimited graces symbolically by a stream of living waters. This river is a life source for trees and creatures living around it. This amazing living water serves as food to bring nourishment. The trees have medicinal properties for healing. In the Responsorial Psalm, we are being reminded that, we have a stronghold in our Lord, the God of Jacob. We should not be caught up in fears, doubts and insecurities of our daily lives but keep our eyes on God because he is our stronghold who will deliver us from all that binds us to this world. In the Gospel proclamation, we are like the blind man, waiting for someone to solve our problems, sicknesses or struggles while we wait on the sideline begging and grumbling about our situation. We have Jesus, who comes into our lives to lead us, guide us in the right path and heal us. Jesus is reminding us that we have to claim our blessings.
PRAYER: Abba Father, change our hearts and make them new. Amen.
