Experience God’s glory
  • Isaiah 29:17-24
  • Psalm 27:1,4,13-14
  • Matthew 9:27-31

Today’s first reading brings us hope; hope for the people of God to defeat darkness, overcome sorrow, be joyous and be in awe of the Lord. It is the desire and will of God that we live and enjoy such freedom. This is demonstrated in the Gospel through Jesus, who showed compassion and mercy to the two blind people and restored their sight. Jesus never rejected any one who sought him with hope. If only we place our trust in him, God is more than willing to transform our lives that we may see and experience his glory and power here on earth. We are therefore, invited to walk on a journey of faith where we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and our Saviour. Through him we receive mercy, forgiveness and deliverance. As we hold on to him in faith and confidence and submit to his will, we will be empowered with his Holy Spirit. Let us seek his grace to live as his beloved children filled with the peace, love and joy of his Kingdom.

PRAYER: Abba Father, open my eyes, that I may see your glory. Amen.
