God is ever so Faithful
  • Genesis 15:5-12,17-18
  • Psalm 27:1,7-9,13-14
  • Philippians 3:17—4:1
  • Luke 9:28-36

Though it seemed impossible for Abram to have descendants, he had unwavering faith in God’s promises. Let us choose to fast from doubt and disbelief and seek reassurance from God in times of doubt, recalling his faithfulness in the past and trusting him with our future, even when circumstances seem impossible. Jesus’ transfiguration reveals his glory. He is worthy of our worship, our love and our obedience. We must seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to silence ourselves to listen to the voice of God and open our hearts to follow him faithfully. Let us take a moment to stop and reflect on the ways we have seen God’s glory in our lives and how it has helped us to strengthen our faith. Am I able to share this with someone who is struggling with faith and belief in God? Our encounter with Jesus will help us witness God’s glory and sustain us through tough times and help us embrace our true identity while walking with him in this spiritual journey for us.

PRAYER: Abba Father, renew my whole being to acknowledge your authority and respond to your call. Amen.
