Today Jesus is giving us the key to come to Him. And the Key to enter the gates of heaven. The Gospel proclamation further explains that anyone who is like a small child can enter the heavenly kingdom. What is the qualification that a child would have that we don’t? God is inviting us to have a heart like that of a child, to have a fully opened heart, and to simply trust in their parents. A heart that would know and believe that there is nothing impossible to their parents. God today is inviting us to have the same childlike faith in our heavenly Father who is far greater than worldly parents. He desires us to run to Him and trust in him, in all circumstances. He is reminding us that if we are discouraged or if people or the world have failed us, to run to our heavenly Father and pray to him. Let us continue to praise him for all the blessings he has showered upon us. We see the heart of the heavenly Father and the desire he has for us to share our life with him. Because we belong to him, he will always carry us through thick and thin.
