Jesus is the Lord of my life
  • Romans 10:9-18
  • Psalm 19:8-11
  • Matthew 4:18-22

Romans 10:9 says if we believe and proclaim that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, we will be saved. Those words will release power which heals body, mind and spirit. This power is available for all of us but we need to believe it in our hearts and not repeat merely in our mind. St Paul who expe- rienced this power, says, do not struggle alone and live a hopeless life, but see the victory Jesus won, claim it and live a fruitful life. Anyone can receive this freedom through Jesus. Therefore let us make Jesus the Lord of our life and worship him. As we do this, the floodgates of heaven will open, breakthroughs will happen in impossible situations, doors that were barred for generations will be unlocked and bondages that tormented families will break loose. We are called to speak this truth which will release the chains of captives, heal the wounded and liberate those caught up by evil. As God’s children, let us use the authority given by God to help others to journey in holiness.

PRAYER: Abba Father, may we focus our eyes on you in spite of distractions and temptations. Amen
