The Lord has been training the ordinary group of apostles to handle an extraordinary task. They were called to walk in a new way of life. In this walk, the Lord used every moment as an opportunity to build them up. On the journey the apostles embarked on, the Lord guided them on the territory they were to remain in, directed as to whom they were to minister to and instructed what was to be revealed. The revelation itself was a reminder to the apostles that they were on a mission for their Master. Just as the apostles we too are called by name for a mission ahead of us. For the Lord to minister to us, we must walk with the Lord daily. We may not be perfect in our walk but the Lord will guide and mature us to that future task. The assignment has been prepared. Let us ask the Lord what his assignment before us is. Where do we need maturing? Are our hearts and minds in the right alignment with his to hear him speak to us?
