To deny that Jesus is the Christ, is the lie of all lies. Jesus said he who believes in him believes not in him but in the one who sent him. Our world is caught up in materialism and often the existence of God is denied, as people are satisfied with feeding the senses. Unconsciously we worship people and things until a crisis hits us. In the letter of John, the Lord’s invitation is to remain in him. Only in him can we have total freedom and liberation. The anointing we have received will never leave us. Some have had a personal encounter with Jesus but unfortunately they have let the world engulf them and they seem to be lost. The call to repentance seeks to reinstate the relationship with the Father. When we look for God’s action in our lives what are we looking for? Do we limit the ways God can work? Jesus has restored our personal relationship with God the Creator, the Father and the loving Abba. He will restore all purpose and meaning.

PRAYER: Abba Father, let us be true witnesses of your power in our lives. Amen.
