Transformation and Renewal
  • Acts 3:11-26
  • Psalm 8:2,5-9
  • Luke 24:35-48

In the first reading, Peter speaks to a crowd in awe of a miraculous healing. He redirects their wonder to Christ, reminding them of his suffering, resurrection, and the promise of restoration. Peter’s bold testimony underscores that the risen Christ is not only the fulfillment of ancient prophecies but also the source of healing and salvation. His words invite us to repentance, offering the hope of refreshing times from the Lord. The Gospel reading takes us into the intimate moments when Jesus reveals himself to his disciples after his resurrection. They are bewildered, struggling to reconcile their fear and hope. Jesus reassures them and opens their minds to understand the Scriptures. His resurrection is not merely a triumphant event but a commissioning moment. He calls his disciples to be witnesses, proclaiming the Good News. As followers of Christ, we are witnesses of his grace, called to share the hope found in him. Let us bear witness to the life-transforming power of the risen Lord.

PRAYER: Abba Father, may I boldly bear witness to you. Amen.
